New Day New Chef

New Day New Chef returns with a fresh, fun and flavor-packed new season of joyful plant-based cooking.
Hosted by Jane Velez-Mitchell and Nina Bergman, the new season welcomes a vibrant mix of chefs, authors, poets, wellness experts and plant-based innovators who prove vegan food can be bold, comforting, creative and completely craveable.
From curry pasta salad and jackfruit quesabirrias to Persian rice, lentil smash burger tacos, potato leek soup and Beyond Steak flatbread, every episode serves up easy, exciting recipes that are good for you, kind to animals and better for the planet.
This season also introduces the fast and fun Challenge the Host segment, where Jane or Nina jumps into the kitchen to share one of their own go-to plant-based favorites.
New Day New Chef is an UnchainedTV Original series that has streamed on UnchainedTV and appeared on PBS, Amazon Prime and Gusto TV’s FAST channel. The series has featured an impressive lineup of guests and plant-based stars, including NBA legend John Salley, Olympian Dotsie Bausch, Miyoko Schinner, Chef Babette Davis, Chef Chris Tucker, Chef Zuzu, Downton Abbey’s Lesley Nicol and Dynasty’s Elaine Hendrix.
The show has also earned major industry recognition, including two Taste Awards, with its Support + Feed edition featuring Maggie Baird’s work and a cameo from Billie Eilish. In May 2026, the 2025 New Day New Chef Lite season added three Telly Awards to the show’s growing success, winning two Gold and one Silver.
