There's a new focus on fighting fur. Animal lovers are so hot under the collar, they're stripping down to their skivvies to demand cops enforce California's new ban on the sale and manufacture of new fur!
At a lingerie protest in the heart of Los Angeles, beneath a billboard for the movie Ending Real Fur, UnchainedTV fans stripped down and strutted their stuff to make a point. They'd rather go around in next-to-nada than wear real fur. The protest was organized by activist Paige Parsons Roache and Cesar Asebedo, of Animal Alliance Network.
The issue came to a head as UnchainedTV launched Ending Real Fur, a movie that exposes the horrors of the industry. At a Beverly Hills protest, animal activist Jamie Sanders revealed that she did her own undercover investigation and quickly discovered that some stores in California are still selling new fur, in violation of the law. With that, UnchainedTV is demanding law enforcement crack down and also urges investigative reporters at local news stations and papers do their own undercover probe into whether stores are following the new law. It's crucial for the anti-fur movement because California, by itself, is the 5th largest economy in the world. What happens here spreads to the rest of the nation and, then, across the globe.
