Check out the Toronto premiere for Ending Real Fur. The film's producer was on hand as was Alissa White-Gluz, Arch Enemy's lead singer who appears in the film as a protester. The movie seeks to end fur in fashion globally but focuses on banning fur farms in Canada, which is a hub of the fur trade. The film stars Taimoor Choudhry, who is also the director/producer. He is a jewelry magnate who also loves dogs. When he realizes his fur trim is from a dog, his world is upended and he ends up going undercover, wearing a wire, to expose the fur industry. Born in Pakistan, Choudhry has made Canada his home and is feted at the November 2023, Toronto premiere for this film which took him 7 years to make.
