A beautiful beach yoga session along the Pacific Ocean takes a provocative turn. As popular social media influencer and yoga teacher Jamie Logan gracefully holds yoga poses by the sea, she pops an intriguing question: Are we truly practicing yoga principles or are we just yoga posers?
Accompanying Jamie on the sand are famed yoga teacher Devi Daly on harmonium and well-known musician Carlos Garcia on drums. Together, all three perform a mesmerizing new song that evolved out of the original track the musicians performed at a lively Los Angeles dinner party. The trio powerfully brings to life a minimalist, three-word mantra—namaste, vegan, love—originally conceived by author Frank Lane and singer Margarita Stirbl.
By intertwining "namaste" (honoring the divine light within one another) with "vegan" and "love," the music bridges traditional Eastern philosophy with modern conscious living.
At yoga's core lies Ahimsa—the foundational ethical pillar of non-harming and compassion toward all living beings. In this stunning music video, Jamie Logan playfully explores the modern realities of putting Ahimsa into practice.
Are those who practice yoga actually living its values? Watch and decide for yourself.
