Meet Sangita Iyer: award-winning filmmaker, author, biologist and National Geographic Explorer. This woman is on a mission: to save India’s endangered elephants by preserving corridors for them to roam, restoring their habitats, and educating people to stop human elephant conflict, fostering peaceful coexistence between people and wild elephants. Sangita’s videos, streaming on UnchainedTV, show the solutions as well as the problems. You can watch them here:

Only about 35,000 to 40,000 Asian elephants are left on the entire planet. More than 25,000 are in India --- their last stronghold. They need our help as humans encroach on their habitat.
Sangita Iyer is working furiously, developing technology that is averting elephant deaths on India's train tracks and rehabilitating elephants who have been rescued with everything from acupressure to deep tissue massage.
