Vegan Fashion Week 2023 was a stylish triumph, with an exciting runway show and a convergence of some of the year's hottest designers at the California Market Center in downtown LA. The red carpet was hopping with celebs and creatives, proving you don't have to sacrifice style to be kind. Au contraire, compassion is now the hottest thing in fashion with animal leather going the way of fur... into the dustbin of history. Enter stage right... fabrics made from apples, moss, mushrooms... and much more.

This being the 5th year of Vegan Fashion Week, Emmanuelle Rienda, the Founder & President, declared the event a breakthrough for the clothing and accessories industries. In a missive to the hundreds of fashionistas who turned out, she rejoiced over the brilliant creativity and bold innovation noting, "Luminaries from the world of entertainment generously lent their voices in support of our cause, including motivational speaker and thought leader Jay Shetty; 'Never Have I Ever' star Richa Moorjani; rising Hollywood talents Lilly Krug, Caylee Cowan; fashion models The Herbert Twins, beloved actress Tara Reid, and the multi-talented actress and environmental advocate, Maggie Baird, mother of global pop sensation Billie Eilish and Finneas. Their collective support is influential, helping to amplify the vision and message of Vegan Fashion Week to a global audience, and further validating the significance of our cause."
