Mercy for Animals has just released an undercover investigation into a Nebraska pig farm that documents extreme suffering by mother pigs kept in crates barely larger than their bodies, repeatedly impregnated against their will. If this upsets you, there is something you can do now: stop eating animals. Mercy for Animals is also a leading voice fighting the proposed EATS Act, being pushed by pro-meat/dairy industry lawmakers. The Ending Agricultural Trade Suppression (EATS) Act would wipe out numerous state laws that ban the sale of eggs or meat from animals kept in extreme confinement, like pig gestation crates.
