On September 12th, 2026, animal advocates across the globe turn their eyes to New York. In the wake of the historic Ridglan Beagle Rescue Saga in Wisconsin —which sparked a viral, international wave of media attention and deep public sympathy for dogs bred for laboratory research—a massive public mobilization is officially underway.

You can march for a block or for the whole 200-miles.
It will be epic!
Organizers are launching the March to Abolish Animal Testing (MAAT), a 200-mile, 14-day demonstration running from September 12th to 26th, 2026, aimed at shifting the cultural tide toward modern, cruelty-free science. This network is fully committing to in-depth team coverage of this unprecedented trek. Our reporting teams will follow the action live as participants rally at the New York State Capitol in Albany before marching across the state to the gates of Marshall BioResources—a massive breeding facility housing thousands of beagles destined for laboratory experiments. As part of our upcoming coverage, we sit down for exclusive interviews with campaign co-director Ella Magers and social media powerhouse Allison Melody to break down the strategy, the coalition of partners, and the growing demand for legislative reform. From the grueling daily miles to the final peaceful rally, our cameras and journalists will be on the ground capturing the stories of the marchers, rescuers, and advocates driving this movement.
The public is warmly invited to join the historic demonstration, whether for a single mile, a weekend, or the entire 14-day witness. In the spirit of balanced, transparent journalism, this news organization has also officially extended an open invitation to the leadership of Marshall BioResources to respond to the campaign's objectives. Stay tuned for our comprehensive, multi-platform coverage as this historic march unfolds.
