Animal Outlook has conducted undercover investigations - complete with shocking video footage - and says it has documented “widespread abuse” that “violates California law.” The group says, even though it has presented evidence and detailed solutions to help law enforcement do its job, it can’t get them to take action and enforce the law. The alleged abuse involves turtles and frogs being cut open while still alive, which Animal Outlook says violates California law, which requires be animals be rendered unconscious or insensible to pain before death.
