For the 4th consecutive year, the Hollywood Climate Summit has been proud to feature a 100% plant-based menu, partnering with local restaurants to ensure a completely meatless, dairy-free, and zero-waste experience. Driven by a commitment to true sustainability, this year's initiative prioritized eco-friendly food choices alongside reusable dishware to keep its footprint as light as possible.
The incredible culinary program was directed by famed chef Chris Tucker, who teamed up with Los Angeles favorites like Cena Vegan and BeeWali's to serve up mouthwatering, sustainable dishes that prove planet-friendly eating is absolutely delicious.
Summit participants hope to serve as an inspiration to other environmental organizations to walk the walk, while talking the talk!
The climate solutions extended from the plate straight to the stage! Attendees were treated to a hilarious and impactful comedy mock trial, The People vs. Big Meat & Dairy, as well as the high-stakes "Chew On This" Live Doc Pitch Competition. Co-hosted by Who Let the Docs Out, this supportive, collaborative pitch session awarded a total of $50,000, split amongst five visionary filmmakers—proving that, when we lift each other up, we all win!
