As the historic 207-mile March to Abolish Animal Testing enters Day 13, the energy is electric. The ranks are swelling as advocates converge on upstate New York, drawing closer to their ultimate target: Marshall BioResources, the nation's largest commercial breeder of beagles for animal experimentation.
Following an early finish to the day's trek, the group has gathered at Conquest Recreation Field for an evening of community, sign-making, and delicious vegan burrito bowls courtesy of PETA. But the rest stop is also a powerhouse of inspiration.
