More than a dozen beagles were just rescued from a private contract research testing laboratory and released from confinement for the first time in their lives, thanks to Beagle Freedom Project. We talk to BFP's leader, Shannon Keith. She explains how many of these beagles - some over 8 years of age - have never seen the outdoors, never touched grass or played with a toy. Instead of a tattoo with a number, they will be given names and live with loving foster families as they await their permanent homes. Find out how Shannon Keith convinces labs to give these animals a second chance at life!
