Dr. Jim Desmond, a veterinarian, and his wife Jenny thought they were going to the African nation of Liberia for a short trip to help some abandoned research chimps. A decade later, they're still there furiously rescuing many other baby chimps that are victims of the illegal pet and bushmeat trades. Their heroic efforts have paid off and they are now the proud human companions and caretakers (read parents) of more than 100 chimps, who have nobody else upon whom to reply. This video gives you a glimpse into their furious race to stay afloat and help these incredibly intelligent and sensitive beings who are our closest relatives. If you can help, please do. They cannot do it alone and rely on donations. For more, visit: https://www.liberiachimpanzeerescue.org/
