SoCal VegFest is one of the biggest plant-based festivals in the nation. At the massive Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, California, it's plant-based Americana! Tons of vegan food trucks, pop ups, vegan cooking demos and talks from the likes of Farm Sanctuary's Gene Baur, who is considered the father of the farmed animal sanctuary movement. UnchainedTV's own Jane Velez-Mitchell led a panel discussion on animal rights and Olympic cyclist Dotsie Bausch was educating people about the dangers of dairy! But, most of all, people were just having fun, eating delicious vegan cuisine from some of the top vegan chefs in America. Chef Babette Davis, of Stuff I Eat in Inglewood led a cooking demo with Chef Chris Tucker of Great American Baking Show fame, and Dr. Shabnam Islam, co-host of Peeled. Bad Ass Vegan John Lewis also drew crowds as the author, filmmaker and entrepreneur spoke about his many successful projects! Jamie Logan, star of the film Next Girl was holding down the VKind booth! Compton Vegan, Maya's Cookies, Cena Vegan, The donuttery, Love Ice, and SO many more food vendors. Plus fabulous vegan athletic wear. So, enough said. Let's go check out SoCal VegFest 2023! You will definitely want to go next year! https://www.socalvegfest.org/
