Besties Vegan Paradise has achieved a milestone by becoming LA’s first fully vegan grocery store at the historic Original Farmers Market. Located at Fairfax and 3rd in the heart of Los Angeles, this landmark venue has welcomed visitors since 1934, housing more than 100 longtime vendors and 40 restaurants.
Now, for the first time in its nearly 100-year history, the market features a fully plant-based option. Besties introduces a bold new destination for vegan and veg-curious shoppers alike.
Inside you’ll find a vibrant selection of dairy-free and meat-free offerings—100% devoid of animal products. From Besties-famous vegan hot dogs and soft serve to "cheese," "bacon," "steak," and "eggs," everything is fully plant-based. Each product is part of a strictly vegan supply chain, thoroughly researched and ethically curated by owners Matt Fontana and Asia Rain, who also have a popular Besties in East Hollywood.
Musician and longtime animal rights advocate Moby, along with other notable supporters, were on hand for the grand opening. Founders of Besties Vegan Paradise and fellow speakers emphasized how this groundbreaking space will expose many thousands of tourists to the joys of vegan food and cruelty-free products, shifting perceptions with every bite.
This store isn’t just food—it’s a movement for equality, wellness, animal rights, and sustainable living. This pet-friendly spot brings community, environment, and compassion together with delicious food! It’s personal, pioneering, and changing LA’s food culture. Guess what? You can also order from Besties online at: https://bestiesveganparadise.com/ And, Door dash provides rapid delivery for Besties across LA.
