More than a hundred vegan social media influencers, content creators and activists converged on a Los Angeles red carpet premiere party to celebrate Kale Krew, the new hit TV series that showcases Chicago’s vegan scene. Emmy winning host/actress/bestselling author Tabitha Brown wowed the crowd at PETA’s James Cromwell Empathy Center as she hugged and congratulated the stars of the UnchainedTV Original Series, Chicago restaurateur Nemanja Golubovic and influencer Tamika Price. Fedoras abounded as the assembled guests dressed as “Hollywood meets Chicagoland.” There was lots of voguing under the media lights as every partygoer gave the theme their own unique twist.
