Victoria Moran has long been a leader in the compassionate, healthful, sustainable food movement. She has written too many books to list, but her most recent is: The Good Karma Diet: Dine Gently, Feel Amazing, Age in Slow Motion. This book highlights her groundbreaking work in anti-aging. While we all age chronologically, we don't have to feel, look or act in the ways society tells us is appropriate for our age. She also wrote Younger by the Day, which is a great description of the author herself. Victoria, born in 1950, went vegetarian in 1969 and vegan in 1983. She is the living manifestation of the benefits of a plant-based diet, incredibly high energy, productive and always aware of the latest cultural trends.
She also speaks openly of her recovery from food addiction, something most Americans can relate to since 2/3rds are overweight or obese. She reveals the secret to losing weight and maintaining one's ideal weight over time. Another of Moran's 11 books is Creating a Charmed Life. She followed that up a decade later with Living a Charmed Life. Main Street Vegan is a book that gives readers a great overview of what it means to be vegan and how to get there. A woman of many interests and talents, Moran has also written on spirituality. Lit From Within, published in 2001, landed Moran on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
Victoria is also the host of the Main Street Vegan Academy, where she has trained and churned out dozens of vegan entrepreneurs who have gone on to become leaders in the plant-based movement. She has also done a slew of plant-based podcasts and interview shows.
