Why Animal Rising Rocks!
Animal Rising

Animal Rising has made global headlines with its risk-taking actions including: sending hundreds of protesters to disrupt England's most famous horse race, rescuing lambs from the estate of the king of England and occupying massive dairy factories. Their mission is to reinvent humanity's broken relationship with animals by getting people to understand that it is morally wrong to use, abuse and kill animals for food, fashion, entertainment or experimentation. Often wearing matching pink sweatshirts, Animal Rising members risk arrest and even their lives to confront, in a nonviolent way, people who are participating in animal exploitation. In this interview, UnchainedTV's Jane Velez-Mitchell talks to Animal Rising Co-Director Ben Newman and associate Rose Patterson.
