A Moment in History
This UnchainedTV original series shows us a moment in history. We will look back and wonder... why? Why all that unnecessary suffering? Evil flourishes when otherwise good people are convinced that something morally reprehensible is either necessary or just acceptable. The activists you are about to meet have said loud and clear, eating animals is neither necessary nor acceptable. Then, after years of peaceful vigils and protests, the infamous Farmer John pig slaughterhouse in Vernon, near downtown Los Angeles, finally shut down. Activists were left to wonder: is this a victory for the animal rights movement? Or... will the killing of millions of baby pigs just move to a more remote location, far from the ability of activists to protest? What is for certain is that these activists were a part of history, showing. human evolution in action. These women and men forced the world to question their choices and exposed the killing of these baby pigs, for hot dogs and bacon, as morally wrong and violent. Dead wrong. Watch this series and be inspired to evolve.
