This new paper lays out 3 key reasons why animal agriculture has a greater impact on climate change than fossil fuels. The paper is authored by Dr. Gerard Wedderburn-Bisshop, a climate scientist who has worked for Australia's Queensland government. and is also the head of the World Preservation Foundation. While very complex, as climate science can be, the paper basically argues that there are 3 areas where climate impacts are currently being miscalculated. To fix it, Dr. Wedderburn-Bisshop recomments 3 adjustments, listed just below,
"-Consistent accounting of both land clearing carbon and fossil carbon.
-Using Effective Radiative Forcing to compare gases, rather than time-dependent Global Warming Potentials.
-Including all emissions, whether heating or cooling."
