The 2023 Vegan Women Summit was held in New York City in May. As this video tour of the event shows, it was a dazzling, multi-day extravaganza involving more than 1,000 vegan women founders, scientists, chefs, experts and entrepreneurs. The kickoff was a VIP reception at Gracie Mansion and a rousing speech by Eric Adams, New York City’s famously plant-based Mayor. Day 2 took us to Brooklyn and a fabulous open space where hundreds of booths showcased the latest, most cutting-edge vegan products, from food to fashion and beyond. Dozens of leaders in the vegan space spoke at a host of panel discussions as MSNBC’s Joy Reid sampled some of the plant-based products, trailed by a small army of videographers. The after-party on a rooftop overlooking Manhattan’s skyline was a glorious finale as hundreds danced the night away. The whole 3-day summit was a masterclass in self-empowerment and networking. Next year, the Vegan Women Summit will be held in Los Angeles. So, get a taste of what it was like by watching this video… and attend! Founded and led by Jennifer Stojkovic, food-tech leader and author of The Future of Food is Female, the event was produced in conjunction with www.spire.la. The event’s lead sponsor was abillion.
