Breaking News: The U.S. Supreme Court has upheld a proposition passed overwhelmingly by California voters that bans the sale of meat from pig gestation crates: small, incredibly cruel crates where pigs - among the most intelligent creatures - cannot turn around or even scratch themselves. Prop 12 was challenged by pork producers. The legal battle went all the up to the highest court. California is the world's 5th largest economy. Pig factory farms everywhere must now dismantle crates in order to sell in California.
