Reunited & It Feels So Good!

Cows race with joy as they are reunited at the Rowdy Girl Sanctuary in Texas. Cindy and Richard Traylor are former cattle ranchers who decided to give the last members of their herd a chance for freedom and to live with their family members. Missy, the cow, came to the sanctuary first. She was clearly missing her family. The joy with which Missy greets her arriving family members is palpable. This is living proof that these cows have complex emotional lives and love their families just like we do. Just like us, they want to be with their mothers and daughters and sisters and brothers. Rowdy Girl Sanctuary is a former Texas cattle ranch turned vegan farmed animal sanctuary run by Renee King-Sonnen and her husband Tommy Sonnen. They are featured in the acclaimed documentary Rowdy Girl. This is how Rowdy Girl Sanctuary describes the touching moments seen on this video. "This is a story of the heart! Cattle ranchers in Huntsville, Texas, Cindy and Richard Traylor are in our Rancher Advocacy Program. Cindy went vegan first and now Richard is vegan – A 6th Generation cattle ranch family has just ended the tradition of violence on the Traylor Farm. Missy, Monty, Cinnie, Sammy and Minnie are the last of the Traylor herd and they are all NOW at Rowdy Girl Sanctuary, where they will live out the rest of their lives! They are all under 3 years old and cows can live up to 20+ years old, which is why we are ASKING FOR YOUR HELP! Will you help us take care of the Traylor Herd?
