From deep dish pizza to soft serve ice cream, from Asian gourmet to all-American fast food, Chicago's dining scene offers a delicious vegan version for every imaginable dish and food. And, it's so fun to learn the backstory of these restaurants. In several cases, the restaurant owner was in the family food business, went vegan, and then decided to reinvent the business without any meat, dairy or eggs.
