The March to End Animal Testing is growing as it moves across New York. After camping in 40-degree weather, marchers set out from Lock 20 in Marcy for another 16 miles to Seifert Corners. By this afternoon, they expect to have traveled 118 miles from Albany. New participants have joined from upstate New York, New Hampshire, and Wisconsin, along with a volunteer from Big Dog Rescue Ranch. Every mile carries their call to end animal testing and protect beagles bred for laboratories.

At 5:30 p.m. Eastern, Dr. Colin H. Simonds, North American Director for Dharma Voices for Animals, will join the gathering by Zoom. Ridglan defendant Aditya Aswani will also speak, with Dean Wyrzykowski serving as emcee.
