Award-winning LA filmmaker and activist Fia Perera is a visionary force in storytelling with a purpose. With each project, Fia brings her advocacy to life, shining a light on vital social issues while captivating audiences. Her graphic novel "Pippa and The Major", cowritten with Adam Fisk, explores activism in early American history. It cunningly blends art with environmental and social awareness. "Paul and Trisha, The Art of Fluidity" co-produced with Adam Fisk explores the fluidity of gender and the courage it takes to be authentic in a world of expectations. Her upcoming feature film, Mermaids, dives into the struggles of childhood bullying, capturing the experiences of a youth in a moving, hopeful story.
