The Invisible Vegan is a 90-minute independent documentary that explores the problem of unhealthy dietary patterns in the African-American community, foregrounding the health and wellness possibilities enabled by plant-based vegan diets and lifestyle choices. The documentary follows the personal journey of filmmaker Jasmine Leyva, as she gets real about the problems with her own family's dietary choices and heads for a different path that leads to optimal health and longevity. In the process, she realizes just how much the African-American community is being exploited by Big Meat, Big Dairy and Big Pharma. This film is a wake-up call that is sure to inspire those of every background to make the switch!
