As meat consumption continues to rise, devastating animals and accelerating the climate crisis, these activists say meek appeals to reason are just not working and the clock is ticking. So, they use shock-value to snap people out of their indifference. Ironically, the fierce backlash they get moves the algorithm needle, spreading their message globally to millions.
