The heart of Chicago's vegan food scene is XMarket, a vegan mall filled with vegan restaurants and a full-service vegan supermarket. This was the scene of the fabulous, fun Chicago premiere party for the hit Kale Krew TV series on UnchainedTV. The two stars, Nemanja Golubovic and Tamika Price, kicked if off with their adorable voguing on the UnchainedTV red carpet. The show profiles numerous vegan restaurants in the Windy City including: Soul Veg CIty, Chicago's oldest vegan restaurant, Spirit Elephant, Runaway Cow, Can't Believe It's Not Meat and others. The show also visits non-vegan restaurants that DO offer fabulous vegan options, something every restaurant should do. Tastes of Bri, October Cafe and My Pie are just 3 examples. Of course, the series visits the restaurant owned by host Nemanja Golubovic, Chicago's famous Kale My Name vegan restaurant. UnchainedTV President Jane Velez-Mitchell flew in from LA for the party and was blown away by the plethora of plant-based options in this famous Midwestern city, America's 3rd largest after New York and LA.
