Body-painted and bold, actress Justina Adorno (Mayans M.C., Grand Hotel) and activist Jamie Logan (The Next Girl) unite for this unforgettable, laugh-out-loud reality pilot.
Justina and Jamie are best friends, part-time performance artists, and full-time chaos queens, setting out to “raise awareness” —armed with paint, leotards, and zero inhibition. What could go wrong?
The plan? Show up at a Times Square yoga class dressed as endangered fish: a salmon and a yellowfin tuna. The reality? A flaked-out artist, a PMS meltdown, one dog-ruined yoga mat, and a body painting session that gives passersby whiplash.
Between security guards telling them to tone it down and creepers with cameras trying to zoom in, Justina and Jamie manage to perform warrior poses in the middle of Times Square—fully painted, barely clothed, and deeply committed to making a scene.
Green Goddesses Take New York is a fearless, funny, and fabulously unfiltered reality-comedy pilot from UnchainedTV and CaveLight Films, directed by Jordan Ehrlich, edited by Julian Morena, and executive produced by Jane Velez-Mitchell and Jordan Ehrlich.
