Moby Speaks at VCO 2026
ENGLAND'S VEGAN CAMP OUT!

58m
At Vegan Camp Out 2026, Moby sits down for a wide-ranging conversation about nearly four decades of veganism, animal advocacy, activism and the lessons he has learned along the way.
From becoming vegan in 1987 to using music, film, business and philanthropy to support animals, Moby reflects on what turns compassion into meaningful action. He discusses the emotional cost of speaking publicly, navigating criticism and social media, working across political differences, and why effective advocacy sometimes means choosing what reaches people rather than what shocks them.
The conversation also explores our relationship with other animals, industrial animal agriculture, the evolution of the vegan movement and the importance of asking a deceptively simple question: Are our actions actually helping animals?
Looking back at how far veganism has come, Moby offers a hopeful challenge for the movement ahead: become more strategic, support one another despite our differences, and remember who benefits when animal advocates spend their energy fighting each other.
