A Heroic Rescue Mission

Seeing Big Dog Ranch Rescue, the Beagle Freedom Project, and Pilots to the Rescue work in such perfect harmony—coordinated by the Center for a Humane Economy—is a beautiful reminder of the power of the human spirit when it is fueled by compassion. All told, 50 rescue groups have come together to help these innocent beagles end up in loving homes across the U.S.

With 1,000 dogs heading toward the campuses of BDRR and 500 being championed by BFP, the logistics are massive, but the mission is simple: Love. Every single one of these 1,500 souls is now being promised a soft bed, a full bowl, and a family that will cherish them forever. While they are coming out in waves of about 300 a day, by May 16th, every single one of them will have left that facility behind forever.
