Throw away those choke collars and learn this kinder method to train your dog! Maryam Kamali is a well-known dog trainer who uses the positive reinforcement method. She says dominance-based dog training is akin to bullying and less effective that her gentle approach. Maryam's method involves YOU learning your dog's language and also teaching your dog how to understand you. It's all about effective communication.
As a test case, UnchainedTV host Jane Velez-Mitchell introduces Maryam to her two relatively recent rescues. Sunday and Wednesday are young, frisky and easily excitable! Jane lays out a series of issues she would like to solve and gets Maryam's advice. This is an introductory video that explains Maryam's philosophy. More episodes to come with further details.
